NITDA Scholarship is dedicated to developing and regulating Information Technology in Nigeria, with the goal of transforming the country into a technologically advanced and competitive economy.
Since 2010, NITDA has established a scholarship scheme for eligible Nigerian graduates to obtain their Master’s or Doctorate degrees in relevant areas of IT and ICT Law.
The NITDA scholarship is offered annually and is based on merit, evenly distributed among the six geo-political zones for Ph.D. and 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for Masters.
How to be Eligible for NITDA Scholarship
To be eligible for the Master’s program, you must hold a First Class or Second Class (Upper) Honours Bachelor’s degree in a related field of Information Technology or Law.
To be eligible for the Doctorate program, you must be a University or Polytechnic Lecturer with a Master’s degree in a related field of Information Technology.
Duration
The Master’s program will be sponsored for one year, while the Doctorate program will be sponsored for three years.
A comprehensive computer-based aptitude test will be conducted to determine the successful candidates for the award.
